Did ya miss me? | 5 Random Things

Lately, my life has been crazy, busy, insane, busy, awesome, crappy, busy, hectic, lovely, and a whole host of other adjectives. This means that I’ve been a little MIA from this here blog, which stinks, but not to worry, because I’m back now!

So what has happened in the last month while I wasn’t blogging?  A bunch of things, but mostly I’ve been creating things.  My life is awesome in that way.  When I’m busy it means I’m busy making stuff.  For a long time I’ve had a hand full of great posts all ready to post here, but no time to actually get them together and post them.  Those of you who are bloggers know what this is like… more ideas in my head than time to execute them (story of my life!)  I’m so excited to share all these ideas with you in the next few days.

It’s no secret that I’m in love with Instagram. It’s my most favorite way to waste time, though, it’s not wasted time at all.  It’s actually more like my favorite way to procrastinate. I’m really good at procrastinating. :) Recently, there was a fun meme going around where you are supposed to post 5 random things about yourself.  It’s not hard for me to come up with 5 random things (actually, it wouldn’t be hard to come up with 25 random things about myself!) so I went ahead and posted this photo that Kristen took of me, with these 5 facts.

  1. I married my high school sweetheart. We’ve known each other since we were 2 years old & started dating our senior year of high school. That was 9 years ago.
  2.  I grew up in VERY rural Northern Vermont. My high school had 1,100 students, which is a pretty good size, but that’s only because 17 different town’s students were sent there. It was a 30 minute drive from my house.
  3. I have never liked the taste of milk. I love cereal but I always eat it dry.
  4. My socks hardly ever match. I do this purposefully to make life just a bit more fun.
  5. I dream extremely vividly & remember most, if not all, of my dreams. Unfortunately a lot of them are bad. Dreaming at night actually wears me out & I hardly ever feel rested no matter how long I sleep.

If you’d like to check out the rest of my Instagram feed, check out my Posterous blog, where I cross-post my Instagram photos for those of you who may not have access to Instgram, or just click on the Instagram icon on the right side of this page (it looks like a little camera.)
