Thrifting Fun | The Junk Bonanza

Last weekend Jason & I visited the Junk Bonanza here in Minnesota.  The Junk Bonanza is where, for a weekend, 130+ junk & antique dealers from the midwest bring lots of awesome stuff for us to buy.  There was definitely something for everyone here, and an incredibly inspiring space to walk through.

The look and feel of this place is just awesome.  There’s so much stuff crammed into each booth, making it fun to look around and search for that special something to decorate your home or use in your next project.

There were many booths with an assortment of my favorite things: vintage cameras, typecases, wooden type, thread spools, large letters, and vintage luggage.  Apparently I’m not the only one who likes these things.  :)

There were also a hand full of handmade shops represented as well as local artists who all had their own vintage feel.

I ended up buying two vintage cameras to add to my collection.  Two that I hadn’t seen before, that I adore.

The Junk Bonanza only comes once a year, so mark your calendars for next year: September 13, 14, & 15, 2012 in Shakopee, MN.  I’ll see you there!
